Hi people! I've had such a crazy week that I had to go off the computer. Fell ill from some kind of springflu that I thought was allergy at first but test was negative, then I got fever, had to do antibiotics that really does me in and I am still on it. Fever for me is transformation, when you release the old to make way for the new, I always come out feeling like a new person which is good. My dear dad came for a visit, we went to see Festivo in Aranjuez, we have had wonderful weather so he was happy watching birds and we saw wild mountain goats. And did you see the moon yesterday - it had a incredible light and here it was enormous!
Yesterday 4 breeders from Galicia (north Spain) come down to view Festivo and Donoso for their mares, they liked both, were especially into Donoso's bloodlines and liked his looks and moves. I was full of Ibuprofen and a little dizzy but Donut very happy as I had not ridden him for 1 week, so he showed off and they loved him! So hopefully Donut will have some awesome PRE babies in north of Spain next year, Galicia here I come!  
Great news! Gyula Dallos has sucessfully competed his first competition with Cantor, he was second and very very content, congratulations! Very elegant pair don't you think?

Back from a long drive to south of Spain to see the international dressage competitions in Sunshinetour, Cadiz, 730 km one way    uff! I had calculated about 500 km so swedish car had to go for it as I did not want to miss the grand Prix freestyle. Luckily I didn't because I had to see Eduardo improvise as his new freestyle was not finished in time, so with old freestyle made for another horse Hortelano he went for it, scored 69% and second place, Olé for Edu!

And then we have the swedish young star Sara Henrietta Bergström Kjällström riding Gina Tricot Diezel that I have read about in www.tidningenridsport.se but never had the chance to see. Sara H has swept the floor this tournament winning pretty much everything and this weekend she did her second Intermediate, got 69% second place. I got to know her lovely supportive family and friends which was a pleasure aswell as seeing Sara Henrietta ride, she is a strong, sensitive and careful rider, a excellent example for our swedish riding nation, I loved your beautiful transitions Sara H, you have great talent, wishing you the best of luck!

Donoso VII es semental contrastado con mucha belleza y movimientos excelentes para la doma clásica. Tiene mucha clase y un temperamento fantástico. Línea Yeguada Militar por Agente. Tiene 5 hijos. Talla exacta; 163 cm. 

We had a lovely day of spring, both Donoso and Start got a good workout and so did I, both are thriving, we are just playing around now and having fun, my playmates. We are invited to FIECVAL again this year, FIECVAL is the Euoropean Championships for PRE in which Donoso VII participated last year. This year we will go with Festivo MR that will now have to compete against the adult stallions 7 years and up, huu, my big baby against all grown up hotshots! Festivo is born in October so he will really only be +6 but it is the birthyear that counts (year going 7 for adults section 12) so there you go, well someone has to be the youngest, we see it as a challenge! Last year we saw some exceptional horses, very high level and in some sections they were even better than in SICAB, so I can really recommend you to go because it is a joy for the eye to see all the beauties. You will find us under the swedish flag, hope to see you there!

I am finished, so tired, but yesterday was a success! Despite the cold day (by spanish standards) plenty of people made it to the show, hu so nervous! Stallions were presented one by one, most ridden and showed by hand. Spanish merienda was served in break and we had a time to chat and be social too. Congratulations and thanks to Concha G Cuetara who is the owner of this grand studfarm and veterinarian in charge of all stallions at stud! Also want to thank team Augosto; Javier for showing by hand and Lourdes for getting our horse ready and looking smashing!
Tomorrow is a new week, make it special!
