Quinto MG is bred by the respected stud Marín Garcia, he has 8 registered offspring and expecting more next year. He is born 2006 out of Gavilan XXIX, bred by Ana Maria Bohorquez, via Yaco II/Pampero V and Albero II on dams side. He is 172 cm tall and has the noblest temperament imaginable, a very kind and sensible stallion. Quinto was selected and sold by Vikingapre and we are delighted to have him join our training and breeding program. Here 6 QUINTO MG's offspring, he has grey, chestnut and bay progeny. The spanish royal stables has bred 2 of their mares to Quinto MG this year and Yeguada Marin Garcia has also used him for their mares this year.

Han verkar vara en riktig sagohäst. Han ser ut så som jag vill att en PRE ska se ut och har dessutom ett bra temperament och rörelser som grädde på moset. Vad mer kan man begära? Har han några tillkortakommanden?
När jag tittade i stamtavlan såg jag att hans mormor heter Donosa V och Donosos mor heter Donosa VIII. Är de kanske släkt på långt håll?
En fråga till. Den bruna rektangeln i Quintos stamtavla, betyder inte den att han skulle var brun? Men han är ju skimmel??? Kan du förklara för mig hur det fungerar.

Tack Ingela, nej D och Q är inte släkt trots att de är samma typ av PRE, stamboken är inte alltid korrekt när det gäller färg registrering, därför finns det en speciell tjänst där man kan färgtypa genetiskt (mot avgift då,. ;) Men Quinto är helt klart skimmel, dock flugskimmel som gör att hans avkommor kan få andra färger beroende på mammans färganlag.
